NOTEBOOK SERIES

Through this series Milixa employs the metaphor of a notebook page. She skillfully juxtaposes the worlds of drawing and painting within the visual narrative. This technique mirrors the essence of any creative process and the journey of life itself. Ideas initially take shape through tentative lines, gradually evolving into refined values and chiaroscuro, eventually incorporating color until they culminate in a polished painting or matured concept.

Intriguingly, Morón engages in a playful dialog with pictorial conventions. This dialogue manifests through various artistic effects: depth and orthogonality, fixity and movement. Written by curator Marco Caridad.
